So, was looking at the latest yew score on here, and thought, well I will take a look on Craigslist. I made a phone call, and ended up with a truckload of yew. A lot of it will be for wood turners, but there is plenty of bow worthy wood there. Cost me $40 in fuel wood free!

Ha! Nice score! ;D ;D I got a few bows worth of yew off of craiglist for $15. It's worth checking every once in a while. You probably have less bruises, scrapes and aching muscles than we do too. 8)

Weylin,
I have been there many times doing what you guys did....BUT.....I prefer cooler temps to cut in!! You guys have quite the score there! Mine is not as good, but was able to darn near back the truck up to it...

well, not to blast our Mountain-Man, Rough-and-tough cred too much, but i recall the truck not being too awful far away. ;)
-
Spose you guys only cut uphill so you could roll it to the truck.

Nice haul Brian ;)

Wow. That's a nice pile. I went to look at a fallen yew tree on Craig's list a few weeks ago, but it had class 4 rapids running through every inch of the tree.

That looks like a heck of a deal. Someone in my neighborhood cut some yew and osage, but by the time I knew they were removing them, they already had the bulk of it cut in to very uniform 18" sections.

Score!!!
That will keep ya busy for a while :)
