I made this in the early spring Ipe backed with Hickory 43#@ 28'' Turkey hunted with it but had no willing participants.

Nice bow, I do love a short bendy handle bow design.  Hickory backed ipe is a good combo, really strong stuff.  I've seen some super skinny bows made from that combo that generated lots of poundage.

That swingset in the background of the first picture really threw me off. I thought it was an arrow at first, and I couldn't figure out why it was stuck so much higher than your fist  :o

Very nice there wildman, hope ya make some meat with it....it'll happen. Nice designs on the back there too!!!

That nothing fancy bow looks nice to me Wildman. Good work, good looking bow.
