Title: Recent hunt in India

It had been a long and unfruitful morning riding in the howdas atop our trusty hephalumps deep in the jungles of India.  Had it not been for my local guides and porters, I would have given up and returned to camp long begore, but these poor local boys depend on tips from us great white hunters to feed their families.  I pressed on for their little kiddies sakes, despite the heat and horrible insects. 

Spoor on the hephalump trail looked fresh, so I disembarked and began walking forward when the tiger lept from a fresh kill just off the trail.  I quickly levered a round in the chamber and drew a bead!

The round caught him just behind his strong and muscular shoulder.  He rolled on impact, lept to his feet running.  These great cats take a lot of killing, I say, sah!

No wonder you don't post many bows.  Your off conquering all sorts of wild beasts.  How much sinew did you get out of that tiger?

The locals claimed all the meat and the sinew.  Dang, and I was really looking forward to eating some...kitty.

Jdub,i would drop the lever gun and go for something in a .470 nitro.maybe a .505 gibbs.probably in a double gun.if that don't work,pull your howdah pistol in .577 snider.great pic brother.

Can you believe I have actually had someone climb my butt and start chewing it out for killing a tiger!?!?!

 :o Only 2999 left!?  Man I bet hurry up and get one before they're all gone!  I'm kidding!!!!  Quit throwing rocks at me already!  I wondered how many folks missed the disclaimer under the pictures.  The guy that did that photo shop work did nice work!  All in good fun!  Josh
