Title: found a weird mushroom yesterday

IR has gills on top and on the bottom and the color is an off white color.

Found something that looks like it.  It's called a Bolbitius vitellinus mushroom.

Read years ago in a field guide that over 75% of all mushroom found in the wild are toxic to humans to some degree and a few are lethal. I stick with morels and puff balls to play it safe ;)

Even when the mushrooms are just starting out they aren't dome shaped they are flat with those ridges on them.
