Title: My third bow.
Post by: maitus on June 24, 2012, 08:58:32 am
This bow is made from junniper. Stave is 58" long. 66#@28". Covered with sinew and backed with ostrich rawhide left from my second bow. Seems to be much faster than my first bow which shoot 26 gramm arrow ower distance 240  meters. No handle cover and proper string jet.

Maitus, you don't post often, but every bow you post impresses me deeply.  I love the curves of this new bow, sir.  She's a real beauty, and I am sure she is a great shooter!

Thanks for sharing your passion with us!

I'm enjoying your unique style very much, Maitus. :) Please keep them coming! This bow is not my style at all; it's not something I would ever make. Yet I'm really amazed by your craftsmanship. The way you use the different materials gives me insight into a new approach I've not yet seen on this forum. Thanks for showing!
