This is for the trade bow thing on the other site. Made "universal" specs because my recipient is still up in the air....62" 54@28 L/R arrow rest, beeswax finish and B-50 string. I like a bow with minimal bells and whistles because I use a hunting bow to whack brush, wade creeks and I toss them out of tree blinds to climb down.

Nice bow ! thanks for sharing !
-
Very nicely done, the bend in the limbs are really graceful, looks like it would send an arrow right in the center of anything you aimed at.
-
Nice and simple hunting bow :) I love it! Tiller is spot on ;) that otta be a meat maker for sure :)
-
Really nice, Shaun! I'd say that take-down feature is a pretty big bell or whistle!!
-
Very nice bow for sure. You forgot to mention using it to fight off wild hogs too. :)
-
I thought we got into this to throw out all the crappy bells and whistles! Send me that bow and even I can't complain! Simple, elegant, functional, durable, and deadly....fills my grocery list.
-
Thanks all. Yes, there are many other uses - as mentioned, fighting off wild hogs - also snake stick, jack handle, wounded squirrel/rabbit bopper and many others.
I do love a bow with artful tip overlays, sinew, snake skins, nice handle leather, etc. But for in the field I like simple and unbreakable osage.
-
I really really like your bow! Sweet tiller and nothing better than a nice piece of osage for a takedown. Beautiful work man. :)
-
Great bow, it's workin' pretty hard being so short, and then you spring the surprise with that last pic...
Excellent ;D

A classic osage bow! Thats the way to build them.
-
Shoot man, a take down at that.......can't beat that at all. I like it, and superb tiller.
-
Doesn't get any better than the classic. Great job!
-
Man, you shure have a gift when it coms to putting a beautiful bend to a piece of wood pr pieces in this case...did you pillar tiller this one as well being a takedown, i guess it would work the same ???
-
This is the epitome of wood bow making. Classic, simple, effective and beautiful. I really dig it.
