Title: cross bow bolts

Met an old German wood carver a few days ago. He is looking for cross bow bolts - any thoughts?

poplar dowels from HD. You can get 2 or 3 from each one. At least that is what we did in the SCA.

Metal shooters  use 2219's.  If he is looking to buy some I have that size shaft.  2219's are starting to get hard to find as I think they quit making that size.
