Shannon and I decided to go down into southern middle Tennessee this weekend and do a little gathering. We didnt find much but what we found was AWESOME!!! :o :o :o I ended up with a bucket of HC and a little over a bucket of Buffalo River/TN river/Dover. I trimmed and graded the Horse Creek first and stuck it in the Turkey roaster! Cant wait to start workin some of it ;) Anyways...heres a couple pics of what we found :D :D :D Thanks fer lookin!

There should be a law about posting pics of rock runs! ::) If there is ever a contest for sand run, I will be the hands down winner. :'(

Awesome rock!!!!! Hey, I have an Uncle that lives close to Memphis that I may be visiting in September. I know there are some creeks around were he lives. Just curious if you guys find rock by running the creek beds or creek banks?

Thanks everybody! I've been dreaming if a rock run like this as long as I've been knapping! It was a tough one though... Once we found the goods we had to haul it a mile or two back to the truck! I can see why this stuff sells for so much and most tof the folks that collect it keep the best for themselves. It's hard to come by and then it's hard to get home :) Steven, all the stuff we gathered was found along creeks ;) with the exception if a few pieces that came from a road cut.
