Title: Today was one of the proudest days of my life!

Today my son has made me very happy and proud he has asked me to build him his very own bow so he could go hunting with me this year. This is a huge step for him as he hasnt really wanted to go hunting at all and hes never been into archery then all of a sudden he surprises me with this. I am very excited i have some honey locust staves and some black walnut that isnt good for making a bow but maybe good for tip inlays. ;D

That's awesome!!! Always good to hear about the youngsters wanting to build anything, especially bows. We would love to see some pics! Have fun.

That's real cool!  What more motivation could you need to build another bow?  It'll be a good one, I'm sure.
