Title: Anyone ever done a bow outta honey locust?

Ive just found some honey locust trees today and im think it might make a good looking bow.Wondering if anyone has done anything with honey locust and if it could be a good bow wood?

I have several honey locust staves seasoning but haven't done anything with them yet... watch out for the thorns ::)

  A couple, they workeed out ok. About the same as BL.
 Drank a lot of honey blossum wine. My grandad moonshined over 40 years went he stop I guess it was in  his blood. Growing up can't remember a spring he did'nt make it.

Makes a fine bow. Sap wood is ok on the back if you leave it a bit wider...
