Was gifted a couple very nice Jasper heads by Bubby. So here's what happened to 'em. Shafts are split paper birch, Eastern two fletch (great lakes style- glued and tied). Since I went with 2 fletch thought I'd use primaries for a change, and some of sinew from this years buck.
Oh ya, the Jasper was so purdy, I went with plain sinew wrap and fish glue and did not add any pitch....the heads are rock solid too. The original great lakes type DO NOT have the rear of the feather tied down....I just do that to all my arrows.

Now that is primitive, all natural products. Way to go and you done those points justice I would say.

Excellent job, by both of you! The deer, should be climbing all over each other to get in front of your bow for the privilege of being stuck with those! ;)
