Hi guys. I'm looking for a Canadian supplier of arrow shafts.POC or spruce or anything not carbon or aluminum. Thanks.
-
I've been using shafts from Hexshaft Arrows and am pretty happy with them. They're somewhere in B.C.
Their shafts are kinda cool because of how they are made, the spine is pretty much the same regardless of how the shaft is rotated. You don't have to worry about where to align your knock or cock feather. They're pretty durable too.

Thanks

What part of CAnada are you in ?

Lashburn Saskatchewan. East of lloydminster.

I was also interested in a arrow supplier, ive been using 3 rivers archery for supplies, and ive heard great things about the hex shafting, just to keep my skills up, ive been using hard wood dowels, they are mostly birch and ive found a few oak, they couldnt be straightened tho LOL, if you guys find a Canadian dealer let me know, im in Eastern Canada, in Labrador

Check out TRADGANG lots of traditioal shooters there.

3rivers was good to deal with, shipping and customs sucked though. gonna try that hex shaft next.

if you don't end up finding a good Canadian supplier, try Surewood Shafts, out of Jefferson, OR. My dad and two of his hunting buddies make the shafts. They are Douglas-fir. They are straight as can be and you will +-5grn on a dozen shafts. I am trying to talk them in to advertising in PA so I can post direct links. Good luck!

sorry to dredge up this old topic, but are any of the original participants on this thread , (or others) still looking for a canadian shaft supplier? i might be able to steer them in the right direction.
