Well when the world hands ya a no fish day you can always hit the rock pile.I grabed a couple pieces of novaculite I bought up at the Flint Ridge knapp-inn last fall and had at it.The first one had some nice lines and color ,I stopped at this stage till I figure out what I want to do with it as far as notching etc.

The last one started getting translucent as I thinned it out.It was a stange shape to begin with and I wanted to save as much as I could so it became a corner tang knife.

Well the weather broke and it's nice outside so I'll see ya'll later.

Nice , can't wait to see how you finish out the preform, and the corner tang looks great. Speaking of crappy weather, we just got a spring snow storm an my garden got about 2" of snow lying on it :'(Maybe some free nitrogen :-\ Later Bob
