My buddy wanted a tomahawk for his birthday. Finished the head today. Oregon dacite. ( Love Dacite !  ;D   '  Frank

Thanks for the replies. I think I will get working on the handle tomorrow. I am thinking Black Locust. I will quarter it to bring out the grain high light. That stuff is beautiful. I will take a pic. and post it when completed.  '  Frank
