I made these two a couple of days ago. The first is from uncooked jasper and the second is from uncooked broken gravy bowl from the late forties probably.

I got it fairly thin but the center line was off.

Like the jasper.
I look around where I am and wonder what the heck is knappable and how to tell quickly?

Nice points Madcrow. I've got some of that glass I found in the creek not too log ago. I picked it up for the same reason.

Thanks for the compliments. I guess my next torture test with be some uncooked banded agate I found in the shed.
