Nice one!

I need to make me one of those.  I've never used a native style quiver before, but I think it would probably be the most practical for hunting and all-around use.

could just be the pic but appears that the strap is attached to the leather and not the stiffener.
The body of the quiver will hang more naturally if you attach the strap to the stiffener.
simply a suggestion! not meant as criticism.

Sonny, I don't think the strap position has much to do with it.  I have another with the strap attached to the rod and it hangs the same.  the onlt difference between the two is the bottom of the quiver.  This one has a one inch thick slab of osage for the bottom, the other just has the leather sewn together.  I'm making one from buckskin next and will try to rod on it.  No criticism taken.
