Here is a picture of my first bow. Swamp Monkey is an awesome teacher and mentor. It is 66" ntn, 50# @ 26" Hickory. Made ALOT of agonizing trips to the tillering tree but in the end was well worth it!!! Biggest lesson learned was PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE!!! Really enjoying this new hobby/art. Gives a whole new perspective and appreciation to where archery has come from. Looking forward to finishing one for my 12 year old daughter about 50% there and starting on the next, then the next, then the next, so on and so forth.

Yup, she looks good from here. A good teacher can prevent you from filling your wood stove up.

Swamp has a great picture of it on the tiller tree, he is working on getting it to me soon...he is a busy man and hard to get ahold of. I will post some more pics as I get them. I did put a couple coats of Minwax 'Early American' stain on it Sunday evening and going to be putting some coats of linseed on it tonight.

Its not too late to give it all up now you can still have some free time to your self and look at a tree for its beauty and not its stave count.
Lovely bow by the way, great tiller.
