Yeah Pappy liked that blade cut also.  I have to credit GregB for all his patented blade designs.   ;D ;D
GregB is so darn good at his blades it makes me aspire to his level.  The top knife is a change for me in how I shaped that handle because I looked at 3 or 4 knives Greg was working on this past weekend and they had the super WOW factor.

John:  You got this blade thing down! :)  Seems once you have the blade the way you want it, the handle makes the knife!  Is the top one maple?  If so, I have lots of that left in a gun stock blank I never used from the old days!  A/Ho Joe

I worked yesterday on sanding, cutting the nocks and staining the arrows.  Today I'll be fletching the turkey wings on the arrows so I should have em this weekend Pappy.   8)
Hey Joe that top one came from some of that maple block you mailed me a few months back.  I have your arrow and I'm making you a knife to send to you.  I was gonna keep em to hand to you when you came to the Classic but with you headed off to Africa I'll be mailing them out soon.   ;D
I figure I might make a few more for the Raffle at the Classic also.  I have a Damascus blade (not the one Eddie sent me but another one I ordered from Smokey Mnt Knife Works) I might put up for the raffle.
I thought about heading to Twin Oaks and using the Metal Band Saw but used my Drimel to cut those 3 out.  I think I'll  just lay out a few knives and cut them out this weekend while my brother is there and let him see how it's done.

John:  I have a lot of that maple left in case you need it.  Am wondering if I send you some cash if you would put it in a couple of the raffles for me?  Am planning a couple of things to send and hope they attract some bidders!  A/Ho Joe
