Been working sporadically on this bow for quite a while and today I finally managed to get a string on it. I put about 60 arrows through it this afternoon and so far its holding even tiller. I'll shoot it a bunch the next couple of days and if it makes it alright I'll finish it out. Thinking dark stain with white bone tips. It is 66" 50# @28, 1 7/8 at the fades, 1 1/2 mid limb to 1/2 at the tips which I will shave to 3/8 when I finish it.

Nice bow, Steve. The tiller is spot on. On the BW bows I've made I got about as much heartwood as you have in the handle.

Thanks Pat. I have another I did some time ago that has the heart wood streaked throughout the belly. Wish this one did.
