I thought I'd stop in and say hi. I see mostly new names. This spring is my 10th anniversary of bowyering. Here is a hickory backed yew, pacific yew I got from Brian Melton a long time ago. Half length pieces spliced togeter. 63" ntn, 55# at 27". Handle built up with some thin scraps of hickory, ipe, boo, BL. Brown osage tip overlays and maple tip underlays. Hemp handle wrap. Couple more pics later

Thanks for the hello old buds and nice to meet you new fellows. Pat, archaeology business is cool. Marcellus gas here in PA. A real wild west show. I have some interesting results from a big dig I'll post on the approp board
Couple more pics. The tip detail pic was out of focus so I will get a new one. I didn't mention that the bow contains a central power lam of black locust - foot long.
