Title: Osage flat bow

A good friend of mine Mike Scott ask if I would post this for him,he is on here  a lot just don't know how to post pictures,it is a nice Osage flatbow,I will let him chime in on all the specks. Enjoy,it is a beautiful and he shoots it very good. :) :)

I made this bow for my son Cody that was in Iraq for 14 months. When he came home I gave it to him and he let me use it at Twin Oaks for the bow shoot. The bow is 70'' tip to tip @ 56lbs with a 29'' draw length. The first time I used it was this weekend and it shot real well!  :D

While I realize that a lovely Osage self bow with Diamondback skins is hardly an appropriate weapon to carry into battle these days, ...just imagine the impression one might make upon an enemy with one such as this if they were to see those snakeskin limbs bending back to cast an arrow their way!  I'd be skeerd!
