Title: It took all weekend

I decided to play with some rock this past weekend.
Georgetown with a curly maple handle

Grey rhyolite mini hawk and a green rhyolite knife.

Another from rhyolite

A small Dacite knife

Good old thunderchert

And just to make sure I had enough blisters, another one from grey rhyolite

And ya gotta keep in mind - some of this TX stuff is REALLY hard! Cipi: i bi-faced out all those spalls off of your biggun, just waiting to cook it. I won't touch it again till it's cooked :). Bring it on George! We'll make an arrahead or two. Sorry Madcrow, little side jaunt here .

My whole upper body hurts just looking at all that rhyolite.  Very fine work.

Thanks everybody.  Jimbob, the green is some sweet rock compared to the grey.  Jonathan,  all it takes is two folded t-shirts and a leather pad to cushion the blows.  Next time I will try pressure flaking some of it.
