Title: Traditional Korean Archery
Post by: wolfman6 on March 06, 2012, 07:46:52 am
So I'm stationed in Korea near Dongducheon, and I'm looking for any resources on how to get in touch with traditional bowyers here in Korea. More specifically a master who still makes horn bows the old fashioned way. All the stuff Ive found on line so far are modern versions of the old horn bows but fiberglass instead. I'm gonna be stationed here for a year and would really like the opportunity to find someone and learn about their style of shooting. Any help would be great.

Thomas Duvernay (may have his last name spelled wrong) is an American teaching in Korea with a passion for the Korean horn bow.  You should try and locate him
