Title: First bow (hhb ironwood) finished!! Pics

Well it's done and it made it! And I couldn't be happier. Though I did learn alot and know that my next one will be even better but man I love this one shoots great and I think looks great. Thanks to everyone for the help and advice and a special thanks to Ryano for explaining to me how to do a beavertail grip. Well here's the stats it's hop horn beam (ironwood) 60" ntn 57lbs @ 28" and the grip is made from a beaver tail. Well hope you all enjoy I think it turned out pretty good for my first bow.

Well thanks everyone for the awesome compliments I know I'm proud of it. And it's definitely going to the woods with me this fall! I hope I get an extra tasty buck this year cause that was a lot of work well I don't know if I can call it work it was a lot of fun! But it was all done with a tomahawk,drawknife, knife and rasps. Oh and heat gun to flip the tips. Man what a feeling to shoot the first arrow and have it shoot hard and fast. I'm already planning my second. Thanks again everyone. Well thank you everyone to hear these compliments from some of you that I consider the greats feels just as good as hearing that first arrow hit the target with authority and yes broketooth it does shoot with authority. And Gun Doc I think ya might be right I'm not sure I can top this one but I'm sure gonna try! Heck I'm not even sure I can do as well. Lol Well thanks again everyone it's really nice to hear the compliments.

And thanks Ryan! Now I see why there's not more beaver tail grips they're kind of a bugger to skin! Lol
