I only got 140 emails last year to check this out!  This pair is a particularly talented pair of parents.  They have a great track record with their young!

It was fun watching the nest over the "off season".  Mice were using the nest all year long.  They'd pop up, look around, dash across the nest, and disappear.  Once in a while one would dig out a bone or chunk of dessicated fish-whatever and chew on it.

We are hoping to have an osprey nest cam up this summer here in the Black Hills.

Great site! I have my 8th graders journal any and all activity for the first ten minutes of class during the Ecology unit, so I watch every day for about a month. I've learned quite a bit from the final papers that my students turn in at the end. Most students get hooked and watch it on the weekends as well. We end up checking in daily to see what's new until school is out. Very engaging
