Title: Looking for a good dry stave
Post by: Reanimator on February 28, 2012, 03:13:57 pm
Hi guys, I'm new here. I'm just wondering if anyone has a bow stave you would like to trade. I'm looking for a dried stave from either hickory, ash, locust, osage or yew.
Since I'm a beginner I would like it to be as straight and free of defects as possible.

For trade I've got a gerber diesel multi tool, an ontario rat 1 (well used and need sharpening), a tomahawk, some sinew, a flint and marcasite kit (for those who would like to try their hand at primitive fire making) and some chaga.

Anyone interrested?

Here it is. It's in pretty good condition, the only thing though is the wood on top of the head is a little smashed when I tightened the head, but it's not a big deal.
It is a ''Woodsman'' made by Two Hawks by the way.

Is the Ontario rat a folder or fixed blade...I may have a stave for you.

Would like to see a picture too of the knife??
