Title: Mahogany?

Anybody had success with Mahogany for a backed (with paper I am thinking) bending handle bow?

Ive heard it's terrible,
that is unless youre talking about Mountain Mahgony (Palo Duro)

i tryed some south american mahogony and it was brittle as all get out tryed it backed and in a tri-lam as center core and both exploded early on, mountain mahogony is a doable bow wood from what i've heard, Bub
