Title: linen backing

would burlap work as a backing? i dont really know if its linen or not but i have a ton of burlap.

I used burlap on my last bow, Im not sure how effective it was as a backing but it did keep the bow from blowing completely in my face when it cracked through the limb...i blame bad grain and poor wood choice for that. lol, but im kinda new here so Im not too sure on how "good" it is just that it works.
