The bow is 64" ntn, 50# @ 28 after several hundred arrows.
1 9/16" at the fades 12" out then tapers to 7/16" tips
The tips and grip are mesquite and osage lam'ed
The skins are absolutely gorgeous in person. They are orange in color Texas rats
The grip is from a whitetail the singer in my band shot and tanned - COOL!
Stacked leather rest
Its sealed in Zip Guard - three dips per half
10 strand D97/10 blend string with wool yarn for added protection to the loops
The silencers are skrat I tanned. I have a lifetime supply from three skrats!
As usual the pics suck it up...but I got three posts worth!

Wait,,,,,,,,I must have been delusional when I made that comment,,,,,,,,,,,Are you certain! I must have meant give that bad boy away immediately lest you fall in love and be swayed to keep her. Just kidding of coarse. That is a beaut!
-
Beautiful work PD. great finish work especially the tips.
-
Man that's fine!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Only thing missing is a name!!
Beautiful, I am glad you are keeping that beauty for yourself.
-
No name Bevan. I just started putting my intials on them. I did do one cool thing on this one for fun. I wrote the length, weight, draw and year in yellow! You can barely read it now but as time ticks by it will become for visible. Im excited to watch it change over the summer!

Cool idea. What did you use with yellow ink?
-
I use an antique nib and Testors paints.
-
Thanks, I had never thought of using those. I use them for cresting shafts.
-
incredibly nice PD! Love those skins... Can you get a pic of how you pad your loops with yarn? I'm interested in that idea.

That would be the one to keep.....I really like the rat snake skins. The overall bow is super nice. Thumbs up for sure.....I do not take back my comment about you keeping it.
-
That is a sharp one. I stand behind my statement to keep it. I'm sure the trade bow you are working on will be just as nice as that one. Great job on it.
-
After reading all those names I take it you're a hard man to convince ;). Lovely bow by the way! Your skins are a little brighter than mine, but if'n you like 'em, I like em!
-
If you really have your heart set on givin it away I suppose I can take it off your hands for ya
-
Beautifull bow, Pearlie, and I love the color of those skins.
-
great job Pearl.if i send you a stave, will you make one for me?thanks for the look,Steve
-
Beeeeaaautiful!!! 8)
-
Thanks for all the kind words fella's. It means allot to me. Several of you had something to do with this bow in one way or another over the last few years. The skins and tips are sooo much prettier in person, or with a better camera. These pictures just dont do them any justice. I told Charles I had a bow that needed something different. These are what he suggested. The man knows skins!
-
Chris you really out did your self on this one... amazing job all of it... if I ever cook one even close to that I'll sleep with it !!
-
Very nice! It's a keeper for sure.
but then my name's not on that list is it?? ;D
Cheers!
-
Beautiful, just beautiful. Someone would have been lucky to get that as a swap!!
-
That bow is a Pearl! You outdid yourself!
-
Hey; What about me???? I never said you should keep it! Very nice, Drums. I like the "RAT" theme you got going on this one!
-
You gave me the stave Matt. You dont want to be an Inidian Giver do you?
Hopefully that isnt a bad term nowadays? If so, my apologies to our native members.
-
That is a keeper for sure.
-
Nice finish work on that one PD. Those skins look great and my good ness the tip overlays are stunning. Danny
-

Cipriano

Sorry Cip! The skins I got from you are all long gone buddy. These skins came from your state though! I got them from Charles (aka Snakewood) over on TG. Says they where hung up in a fish trap? I didnt care where they came from after I seen the color they had.
-
:o :o :o WOW outstanding job!! I dont know what else to say but WOW!
Josh
-
Too bad Pearly, but you are right.. Sweet skins. What part of Tejas is he in? What's tradgang like? Never been I don't think.

Great bow. I guess I will never be able to make such a finish like you- great...
-
Wow!!!!!!!!!! Not sure what else to say...
-
what a sweet lookin bow p.d. you are really crankin out some bows this year. i gotta get in the shop and get caught up rv
-
Too bad Pearly, but you are right.. Sweet skins. What part of Tejas is he in? What's tradgang like? Never been I don't think.
South Central I believe Cip. Trad Gang is cool , its no PA though! Many of the same folks use that site as well as this one. They to have great mod's and proper users. It entails all traditional equipment............including.....glass.... ???
Great bow. I guess I will never be able to make such a finish like you- great...
Ahhh nonsense Druid! Your bows are gorgeous and every bit as pretty as anybodys. Its ALL about the bend friend! You happen to know just how to make that happen. Anybody can make a piece of wood look like a $1000 bow, the trick is making it shoot to match that price tag. Hence the reason we ask for full draw pics when somebody forgets to post it.
Thanks again everybody, it means the world when my peers like my work. Hey Ruddy you do need to get in the bow shop boddy, aint no better place to be!
-
Looks like a hum-dinger arrow slinger to me. Good job all-around. God bless
-
Very nice...will you be at MOJAM or Tenn. Classic this year? If so bring some of those good look'in bows .
-
Im afraid I wont be at either raghorns. I live in north/central Michigan. Its a heck of a drive to either of those places. One day I will make it to both! Promise ya' that. I want to meet a bunch of you hotshots one day.
-
