Title: Need a yew board.....

What are you wanting to do with it?  I have a very old yew log that was very badly checked on the outside when I got it. There is some nice heart wood but some of the checks are deep into that as well.
  Yew rarely gets cut into lumber. It is gnarly knotted and very hard on machinery so the mills consider it more trouble then it's worth.
