I have been working this week on improving my thinning. I have a couple points from tower and work toward that type of process. Anyway I am hitting inward a lot more than before and getting some interesting results. I like the larger flat flake that are coming off. The notching went well with the pressure flaker. Almost got it deep notched but I chickened out. Well at least I have a good hunting point at 160grains.

That looks great John. Did that flake that extends from the left notch come while notching, or in your thinning before? Super point!

Ya I have been working on a couple of styles lately put have not posted any yet. The fluting project is coming along but is not good yet. I have been watching a lot of videos of other knapping styles.

No G that flake came from the thinning I was doing before I started flaking. I had 5 thinning flakes that removed nicely. This was all done with the large copper bopper and an antler. I have been mixing in the antler so I can learn ABO at the same time.

Chickened out? I don't see any chickens. That's a fine point with great notches. You are really progressing with your skills. Faster than I did. Knap-On!

Very nice point and I'd say 160 grains is near perfect. ' Frank
