Title: arrowhead blunt from horn?

hi everyone,

anybody  here had  been doing  blunt  but  from horn materials?
i  can do this easily but just that i might need some technical advise.

Saw out a 3/4 wide chunk of deer antler about inch and a half long.  Drill a hole halfway thru just large enough to get your arrow shaft in....glob some 2 part epoxy down the hole and shove the shaft down in her.  Be sure to wrap the arrow shaft for 2-3 inches behind the head with some sinew to toughen it up.  I broke my first few off just behind the blunt until I learned to strengthen 'em with the sinew. 

Crude, but effective.
