Hey got an osage, 57" tip to tip, 45 lbs @ 27", little set. Made from a 2" diameter tree, A bit over an inch at the widest. Lot of character, has a valley dug out on belly side to get rid of a rotten heart. Enjoy.

That is AWESOME!!! I just thought some of my bows had character to them until I saw this one!
-
Way cool.

A bow filled with character! Not my cup of tea, but you did a good job getting a bow outta that stave!
-
Excellent job on that one. nice tiller especially being full of knots like that.
-
Howdy MSPink,
Looks like you took a piece of kindling and turned it into a nice bow. That took a lot of skill.
It's a fine reminder to us all that one doesn't need an absolutely perfect, straight grained stave to get a really fine bow.
Thanks for sharing,

Love it!I agree with Blackhawk, You read the wood perfectly and were able to reveal the bow hidden in that sapling. Well done

Pappy, the ring I worked down to is almost 100% heart except for a couple small places where it hadnt transformed yet. And the very tips have a bit.
