Post by: JW_Halverson on December 22, 2011, 01:02:14 am: Remember everyone, you have exactly one year left to get it right. According to the Mayans the world ends in 365 days. For some of you there is much to be made up for, others have much to celebrate, and yet others have yet to just wake up and smell the coffee.

Just for reference, that will be my 50th birthday. How ironic that the world ends just when I turn half a century. Maybe I need to make a Mayan bow.

Also the planet x that the 2012 believers talk about doesn't exists. Even if it did line up with our planets it wouldn't be a big deal, it's happened before.

So far noone has got it right, so I put no stock in anyone's prediction (past or present) about when the World will end. The World (not human civilization) will end when it is suppose to end. Makes no sense to me to be concerned or fearful about that which I have no influence over. To quote a line from one of my favorite movies "Fear profits a man nothing."
