Well, 2nd bow season is in here in IN and I still have a doe tag to fill. I decided that I'll try something a little different. I made a hickory board bow and decided I'll hunt with stone points and see if I can harvest a deer with it. The bow comes in 55 @ 28 62"AMO. The arrows are tonkin cane arrows, the heads were made by a new found knapping friend(Thanks Mike!), and fletched with natural turkey feathers. Stick N Strings(Kris)took care of hafting the shafts for me....he used pine pitch and deer sinew to lash on the heads. I must say, I'm pretty proud of this set up. I still have a few bells and whistles to add to the bow. I got Xmas break coming up and look forward to carrying this to the woods. I'm in hopes of getting an opportunity if the Good Lord is willing. Thanks for looking!

Looks like a nice set-up. Good luck with it.
How long is our bow season open for? I might try to get out one more time on the 26th.

I think it goes out the 1st weekend in Jan. We still have a couple of weeks to hunt.
