Dang, thats a nice knife!!  I bet you were sweatin bullets till you got it done, I know I would have been worried about snapping a blade that long.   Well done sir.

What a beauty... And I agree with Turtlecreek... you should use that sucker in public to see the look on peoples faces.

nice knife, how did you work the cholla, I just got some at a craft store and it's a little big, need's a big blade i guess. Bub

Thanks guys it was pretty easy, first i sanded the cholla to get ride of the outer layer, then i wrapped it with plastic wrap and taped it tight.Then mixed 5 min epoxy with
powdered charcoal to give it the black color and poured it in slow added blade then set it handel down in a pot of soil to hold it while it dryed. After about 20 min take tape and plastic wrap off and sand, their will be some plastic stuck in the epoxy but i will disappear after sanding. Mix 5 min epoxy and paint it all over the handle let dry that's it

     Abo-solutely beautiful! :o  That is sa weeeet! 8)  I wish I could make a blade without breaking it. :(  I have a piece of Cholla that Eddie gave me, and it is patiently awaiting a blade that doesn't break before I can get it to the handle.  Again that is really nice work.

sold the knife to a buddy i was showing it to him and he handed me a hundred dollars and said sold "think i sold it to cheap" but he is a good Friend. he gave me a piece of petrified wood asked if i could make a display out of it so here it is think it turned out pretty good
