Title: Looking for brass or wrought iron
Post by: jonathan creason on November 23, 2011, 01:47:39 pm
I'd like to find a chunk of brass or wrought iron to use for finger guards on some knives.  I know I have some seasoned river cane, some ryolite, some beaver fur, and some leather to offer for trade.  Might have some other stuff if none of that interest you, but I'd have to dig.

Are you going to melt the brass or do you need barstock?  If your melting, send me your address.  I have a couple of old piano pedals, brass shower head and something else, just can't remember what.

I'd probably be better off with bar stock, just because of the time restraints I'm dealing with on one of the blades.  I appreciate the offer, though.  I would like to give smelting it a shot one day.
