I have 2 relative knot free pieces of erc. The first one is around 70 inches and has a few knots on the side that won't be in the final layout of the bow(it has some slight prop twist that could easily be steamed out). Stave one 70 inches. The big knot is on the SIDE of the bow. it wont be in the final layout of the bow

25 rpi and 60 inches long. its got recurve and deflex.

What in the world is Erc? Never heard of it but I do live in S.Carolina.

Erc is eastern red cedar. it's a juniper
