Okay this is going to sound a little off probably. But here goes, my grandma scrapes her feet alot and that's dead skin coming off of her feet. Now if I collect enough of that powdered dead skin, would that be okay to make some hide glue with? I'm laughing at the idea over here but seriously, what about it?
-
LOL ok well I'm not sure I would want to gather that much dead skins cells from the feet because they will shrink up allot when heated in water. Who knows you might get some good Toe jam, toe foo or something like that >:D
Seriously I think sinew scraps are best, But I'l give you an A++++ for being original ;D
-
Sorry dude but being already sick and laying the couch you just about cause me to loose my cookies and I haven't even eaten yet today! :o
-
lol I'm sorry Lee. I might try it though just to see what happens! I'm curious.
-
Well if that trips your trigger I know a Jewish Doctor that does "certain" procedures for boys and maybe you can use some of his leftover pieces for a new sinew??? ::)
-
Careful rubbing oil into that bow, it may gain a lot of poundage quick!
-
I have some sinew scraps that I will give to you if you need it. You can make glue from them and not have to use grandmas foot scrapins. Send me a PM if you want them.
Also, you can make glue from unflavored knox gellatin. That's what I use for glueing sinew.

LMAO guys...
Hey lee your not the only one sick laying on the couch, except loss of cookies,I just lost a pound of green phlegm...I laughed so hard I coughed a bunch up.
Laughter is the best medicine ....lol.....thanks for the laughs guys.
And I can't believe you even thought of that. Just when I thought I heard and seen all the questions pertaining to what you can use in bow materials.
As mentioned Knox gelatin is cheap cheap.

-

Glad my thread could help you expel some of your excess mucus there black hawk lol hey this knox gelatin from what I have looked up is good for your nails and joints and junk. Sounds good! That might be better suited to makeing a new wallet/luggage combo.

Forget about grandmas feet..... You should have enough sinew scraps left over after what you'll be receiving shortly in the mail... And no toe-nail tip overlays please... :)
