Title: Corsican Ram & Wild Hog Dinner (attach drool catcher now)
Post by: Almostpighunter on October 07, 2011, 08:24:26 pm
Here's how the meat from the Corsican Ram and Wild Hog were prepared for dinner last night in celebration of the return from the Taxidermist.

Please note the "Silver Skin" removal on the backstrap that I spoke about in the other post. I don't know if this is necessary in all game critters, but it made for a very tender strap in an otherwise old Ram.

Just wanted to let you all see what might happen if I am the camp cook at any particular camp.  >:D >:D >:D

That look very good, the silver skin you talk about is the back strap sinew we always take off and keep from the deer we kill, very handy stuff. :)
