Title: are these knappable?

Any rock in the yard is fair game. Put bricks on those water hoses and take a chip out of the rocks to see if they'll knap. rick B

Im with Rick on this one, any knappable rock used for landscaping should be a crime or it should at least be understood that they will not be safe when you are running low on material.

guess i'll roll them over and knock a couple a spall's off, then roll 'em back to hide the evidence :-X, Bub

All afore mentioned is good advice but those don't look very knappable to me. Never know till ya hit it :).

My wife puts flint in her garden just to mess with me.  Also she knows that the round ones make good hammerstones.  My advice never tell them anything flint related (they are evil).
