Title: New Cholla-handled Knife
Post by: Josh on August 28, 2011, 01:18:10 pm
My buddy Erik knapped the blade I hafted it last night wit home made pine pitch and sinew... The end cap is yellowheart, purpleheart, and zebrawood. I can't remember what kinda rock the blade is we got it at a local flint knapping gathering in slab form I will have to ask Erik what it is when he comes over later.   Thanks for looking!  :)

That`s one of the coolest knives I`ve seen.  I love the handle.  Definitely a showpiece!  I`d be afraid to touch it :)

Damn cool knife Josh! I'm probably wrong and that's a little translucent but i'd call it novaculite :).
