:) those are fun, I used to just take a bandanna and roll it up into a makeshift sling when I was a kid always seemed to work really well.

That looks pretty good.. I have made dozens of slings usually with woven strings and a leather pouch an always have one on me... I suggest starting out practicing with tenis balls just cause they can't hurt anything... Check out slinging.org... They have some great info and tips on accuracy.. Keep with it and these little weapons can be deadly accurate and hard hitting... Happy slinging
