I got a book from chris cade about building footed shafts, but its still packed up somewhere and i cant remember how he said to align the foreshaft. So how do you do it?

First, get the nodes of the shaft properly oriented Dan. Leaf stem scars goes at the 6 and 12 o'clock position.
Then align the flat/edge rings of the foreshaft to the boo shaft like you would for a regular doweled shaft to the bow. With foreshafts, you do however have an option of which way to position the foreshaft's rings according to how you prefer to mount your broadhead.
Example: I use trade points that are hafted vertically that's perpendicular to the rings. This puts the edged ring of the foreshaft against the bow.........Art
