Title: ONE OF LIFES BIGGEST MYSTERIES!!!

Ok maybe not but its been bugerin me somethin awful.


 HOW MANY LEG/BACK SINEWS DOES IT TAKE TO BACK A PLAINS BOW??????????????

For just one layer on a 55" "gullwing" bow, how many tendons does it take?
 if you can help i would be most grateful

Not sure on the number, but an ounce does 2-3 layers for me.

More than you would think is my answer.  I always end up using more than I think I will.  Just as Pearly ;)

I would prep about 10 back sinews so I'd have plenty of extra.  I'm lazy and I use leg sinew to make the glue.   :D
