If a limb starts to develop a propeller type of twist during tillering is it because not enough wood is being taken off one side of the limb? It is a well seasoned piece of osage.

More often than not its because your thickness isnt even Dave.

Check the thickness across the limb with your thumb and fingers. You will find that one side is thicker than the other.
If you have a tillering gizmo run it down either side or each limb(on the belly) and it will show you where to remove wood to eliminate the twist! ;)
