What is your favorites hunting point style and what are its demotions?

7/8 wide, 2 long.

Best thing I've found is a simple triangular point about 1"x 2 1/2" with shallow side notches.

1" wide at the base,1.5" - 1.75 long, triangular shape with side notches, fairly strong median ridge. Put a heavy hickory behind it and it'll blow through a phone pole! ;D

Just looked at the post again, Question for aaron.

What did you use for that green dye on the nock end of that arrow.   And...are those points glass or stone?  Thanks, dpgratz

Thanks for the replies and info. Those are some nice points and arrows aaron, what is that green point in the bottom right made from? I got a chunk of obsidian the same caller, been savin it. Nice point Hillbilly, that type of rock is that? No problem bowtarist.

folks, the green point is obsidian- a variety called Burns Green which is found on private property near Burns OR. The green paint is "green earth" or vagone green mixed with hide glue.
