First of all I want to say thanks to ALL my enablers that kept me in yellow wood until now, I appreciate that very much! I finally have my own stash of osage. It was a long train running, but worth the wait. Here is what I got from four logs. The longest are 8' and the shorter billets/staves are 4' - 5' long. ;D

If we all could be so fortunate. That is a beautiful sight :'( :'( :'(although u may have to much...if so ill gladly take some off ur hands >:D
-
That should keep you going for a while. I didnt osage grew up in your part of the country. Glad you found some though.

You got yourself a nice batch of Osage there. Don't forget to spray them down with some insecticide a couple of times this summer. Dean

Hey okie it didnt come from Michigan, it came from southern Indiana. A friend skidded them up and I sent a work truck down to grab them. He has plenty more when Im ready. It sounds crazy, but it took alot of pressure off me. I dont need to barder, trade or buy any for a while now.
-
Pressure? Thats funny. Well maybe you can relax now. Looks like some good straight stuff.

GOLD FEVA' does some strange things to a man okie!
-
Hope the next work truck dont get highjacked! >:D
-
Hey Pearl
If that work truck is coming up I69 then you may want to have them kick a few pieces off on the north side of fortwayne as a little insurance against hijackers !! LOL
I could use some pressure taken off myself !!

Pearl Drums, Nice lookin' hedge apple, I'm in Southern Indiana, think you could hook me up? I'm in the Bloomington area. I know one guy on here from these parts...wonder if it's the same guy. His initials are T.F. Same dude? Have a great one!!

I got this stash from a farmer friend in Madison County. He has 130 acres of it growing. I am going down in October to thin the herd down and plan on bringing 5-6 more logs home. Souther Indian is covered in osage, you should be able to find a place to cut REAL easy! Post an ad on Craigs list and see what happens.
