Title: Shawnee carved bow
Post by: wildman on June 30, 2011, 03:11:13 pm
This is my take on another bow that I traded Rich for . I really really really like the woodland bows. I built this one from Hickory 56"ntn 46lb @ 28" My band saw has puked so I carved most of it by hand and have the blisters to prove it. I have been on vacation all week now I see how you retired types do it. I would like some input on the tiller as this bow seemed hard to tiller.

Sweet Jesus man, leave alone for a week and just look what you done ;D  Very very nice....only thing I see for yer next one, is to let the bend get closer to the middle of the bow for a "full circle tiller" but hell man it's bendin and shootin.....go stick yerself a critter. ::)
