Went on a rock run this weekend and just had to hit some of the rock. The Dove is from a creek be near my house, that I gather in a couple times a year after the water blows through and turns over new stuff. Some call it Chouteau, but I think it is a form of Reeds Spring chert. Mostly dark grey to black, Chips good.
The Hardin is from some rock I get from a housing development. It's in the same formation but has a bit more color. ;) It's a big point for a Hardin 4 3/4" long by 2 1/2" wide about a 7:1 ratio. One side has a nasty cluster on it but I managed to save the piece.
